Magic Live! is sold out. I am really excited I am going.(Even though I still have a couple months before it gets here.) Anybody else going? It will be my first time, what can I expect?

I was planning on going but I waited to long...oh well. B

I was there in 2000 and I am going back this year, It was a great convention that year and as far as what to expect? Expect anything Stan keeps it all pretty secret so we really won't know till we get there but I am sure it is going to be a blast!!!!!!

I made sure to get mine extremely early just for that reason. I can not wait. I know they just started putting the talent together. It seems maybe they keep a secret because they really don't know themselves. But I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Magic Live has a great reputation for being the convention for and of the stars.

WOW! Am I sorry for all that did not get their regestrations in time!

I missed the very first one due to a previous booking, and was told by all of my friends that were able to go to NEVER MISS it if Stan put on another one.

Well, as luck had it HE DID, and I attended the second Magic LIVE!

HOLY MACARONI!!! It was the GREATEST Magic Convention that I have EVER ATTENDED!!!

It was at that point in time that I knew I would NEVER MISS ANOTHER ONE AGAIN!!!

Looking forward to AUGUST!!!

Hey, Frank! I'll be there. Maybe we can sit and chat...didn't get to see you except for 30 seconds at the WMS. I'm still thinking of another stage set, but will have to wait until fall maybe. I'll keep you posted.

They do have a late registration list that you can put yourself onto in case there are cancellations. When I attended WMS 2007 in Vegas this February, everyone I spoke with said that Magic Live! 2007 was *the* convention not to miss this year, so I immediately signed up!

Not only am I going, but this my first full blown magic convention that I have gone too. Why? Because it is the only one I knew the dates so far in advance!

Excitement abounds!!!

As you may well have heard by now, you are registered for a sold-out event. In fact, it sold out early March, over five months in advance. Thank you!

We do anticipate some cancellations, so we've created a waiting list for anyone still looking to attend. It's all at http://www.magicmagazine.com on the MAGIC Live! page.


CANCELLATIONS

Should your plans require a change, our official cancellation policy is: Full refund (less 5% fees) up until June 1, 2007. No refunds available after June 1, 2007.

That said, if we have someone on our waiting list who will purchase your registration, we will be glad to assist in making that happen... even after June 1st.


THE ORLEANS

It's no longer a big surprise that The Orleans Hotel is a great place for a magic convention. The meeting rooms are all conveniently located on the second floor, away from the casino. The showroom is a perfect theater for magic; not a bad seat in the house. Everything you could want is right on property, including restaurants in every price range, from Subway sandwiches to the Prime Rib Loft. And, most important, the $59 plus tax rate (Sunday through Thursday nights) is a steal for the size and quality of rooms.

Since surprise is such an important element to a magic show, and since MAGIC Live! is one big magic show, we will not be releasing details of sessions or shows in advance. However, to help you plan your stay with us, here is a general schedule of events:

Monday
9:30-noon - Morning Session
2:00-4:30 - Afternoon Session
7:00-11:30 - Parlour Shows

Tuesday
9:30-noon - Morning Session
2:00-4:30 - Afternoon Session
All night - Close-up Experience*

Wednesday
9:30-noon - Morning Session
2:00-4:30 - Afternoon Session
8:00 - Stage Show
10:00 - Finally Party

* Note that our Tuesday night Close-up Experience starts at 4:30 and runs late into the evening. This gives you an opportunity to catch one, or possibly even two, of the great Las Vegas shows. Since seating preference for the Close-up Experience will be done on a first-registered, first-served basis, please hold off on finalizing your Vegas show plans just yet. We anticipate having all seating assignments completed by June 1st.


ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

We recommend that you arrive at The Orleans sometime on Sunday afternoon, departing sometime Thursday morning. If you would like to see some of the great magic shows in town, you may want to stay over one extra night. Our room block at The Orleans does allow you to stay Thursday night as well for the special MAGIC Live! rate of $59 plus tax. (Rooms are also available for the Friday and Saturday night before and after at the special weekend rate of $100 per night plus tax.)
