Hi Im new to performing magic tricks. Ive seen a lot of them and I know how they are done. Like manipulating the card to the top doing the two card lift. The only problem is learning how to do those. So can anyone recommend me a book where I will learn how to do the different one hand shuffles, and just the basic stuff. A book with a lot of detail pics would be nice, or a video would do. Thank you

Rafiki,
Welcome. You will find the Café an invaluable resource. I am just returning to magic (performing) after almost 30 years so in a sense I too am a newbie. Good luck as you begin your studies in our craft and if you're interested read my 'diary' as I write about my return to magic and the challenges I'm facing. It may help you with your studies as well.

Regards,
