Has anyone tried this trick from "Magic" magazine's latest issue? If any of you have been doing or know the effect I'm talking about, I have made a slight (sleight) modification instead of using the Rub-A-Dub "vanish" that Joshua explains in the effect. I visibly turn the poker sized playing card into the miniature one.
I think this is an improvement for 2 reasons: 1) The change is visually occurring in front of the spectators' eyes instead of it happening under the magician's hand; and 2) you don't need a table to perform the effect as you would with the Rub-A-Dub. (I guess you could do it on your pants, but no table or pants is the cleanest way to do it in my opinion) If anyone is interested send me a PM and I'll explain it in detail. Thanks and let me know what you think or further ways to improve it, T.J. Posted: May 1, 2007 2:35am No one? |
