Do you know Zati Sungur ( 10.3.1898 - 6.7.1984 ).
The innovator of the modern art of magic in Turkey, inventor of the "Thin model sawing a woman in half", he became a famed master magician while touring in South America in his youth. He toured in Turkey, in Europe and in the Middle East Countries with his full-evening illusion show, with great success. He was, also, the owner of the "Universal Magic and Illusion Tricks Studio" in Istanbul, teaching the art of magic to a full generation of magicians in Turkey. web: http://www.zatisungur.org Click here to view attached image. |

Thanks for posting this. Zati Sungur has been mentioned on the forum before, but his name was misspelled -- my fault.

Dear Enis,
Indeed we had a thread sometime ago about Zati Sungur. Fortunately enough many people knew about him. Equally unluckily, there is no recent publication about him in English. However if one may follw the link Bill has given, they may have some idea about him. It was a good thought that you wanted to reming us about him. Cheers.
Magically Yours,
