Review: Stainless Steel Challenge Straitjacket -Richard Sherry
First off let me say that I am in no way associated w/ Richard Sherry Escapes & Magic. I am a very satisfied customer! The Challenge Stainless Steel Straitjacket I received from Richard was packed very securely as always, and as a challenge to myself I decided to try to figure this beautiful, intimidating looking jacket out on my own. I figured out part of it which by the way did nothing to help with my escape from the jacket! The cuffs, chains and hinges and front shackle ALL are NOT gimmicked! You can use borrowed padlocks! This jacket can be rigorously examined by anyone, they will find nothing! For a very reasonable price I received an absolute stunner of an escape, a very ingenious escape method, beautiful workmanship, an impossible looking escape alone or in conjunction w/ another escape...even underwater escapes! Did I mention great customer service and custom work?? I said this an an earlier post, and I will say it again,Richard is a joy to work with and if you are serious about your Escape work do yourself a favor and check out Richards creations at: http://www.richardsherrysmagic.com/produ......pes.html Tony

Great review Tony.
Which of the two steel sj's did you go for? I've been pondering (and saving) for the full view drum escape. Does anyone use this? Or have any further info on it? How does it look as the lid comes off? Is there a video of this being performed in full view? I ask quite simply because it'll cost a near fortune to get it over, so would love to see it before I buy it. Take care, Ros

Hi Ros,
I opted for the Challenge Jacket with the cuffs and chains, I also had Richard customize it. It is fantastic! Shoot Richard an e-mail and inquire about the drum, he will be more than happy to answer all of your questions and may even send you a video if you ask nicely! Take care! Tony

Holy crap,
I've been to Richard Sherry's site numerous times but until Ros' post, I didn't realize that the second drum escape was full-view. I've been considering getting Phobia which I like to call a "water torture cell on a college student's budget." If anyone gets a video of either, please pm me. |

"What's your drug?" she asked. "Hope" he said, "The most addicting one of all."
