Hey guys,
Im looking for a good card fountain. Price isn't the issue. I just need one that will last me a long long long time and is of great quality. I have seen a few different kinds but would like some other in-put. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best Brandon

Brandon,
I have and still use a Marcelo Contento card fountain. It has served me very well for years and has been very realiable of a prop. I just make sure to carry spare batteries and change them every so often. But it works very well and I can control it on a timer or remote switch. Hope this helps you. Kyle

This link below is for the jumbo card fountain. I will try and find you a link for the regular sized fountain.
http://www.vikingmagic.com/?nd=full&key=616 This link below should be for the normal regular deck fountain. http://www.martinsmagic.com/?html=galler......Contento Hope this helps you. If you do a Google search for marcelo contento card fountains, you should find multiple places that carry them. Kyle

I still like the original with a threaded deck and a Thornton Windlass. Joe Porper has a prototype that will shake up the troops.... it's actually built into something unexpected. He made one for Dai Vernon and Vernon fooled Slydini with it. I keep pushing him to produce some of them.

Unfortunately the Contento Card Fountain for regular size cards is no longer available. Victor Contento was going to market a new version this year but it has been put on the back burner.
My advice would be to try to find a second hand version. |

I had the Contento Card Fountain with the remote control. It was extremely reliable. I would concur with Kyle. Any battery operated prop needs fresh batteries. Have them with you.

RV: Duco Double Card Fountain US$ 559.00 + shipping
(for regular or Anglo Giant cards) Sold by The Trickery When I received my Duco Double Card Fountain, I was immediately impressed by the care and thought that has obviously gone into it. The mechanism is well-designed and powerful and shoots every card up to 6 feet high! It works with both Poker and Anglo Giant cards with equal results. The auto shut-off after it finishes shooting is a great battery-saver. And the ability to change triggers from the remote to the timer with a flick of a switch is really convenient. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that in order to shut it off, you have to remove the battery, which requires a screwdriver to remove the back cover. Yes, the toggle in the middle position is the "off" switch, but it is so easily nudged in transport that this feature is only useful during the show. I would never travel with the battery installed, as I'd be afraid the switch would get pushed to the "on" position and I'd arrive with a dead battery. A master on/off switch or easier access to the battery would have been nice. However, this minor issue is well worth the results I've gotten with this little wonder. If you use Anglo Giant cards and would like a card fountain - get this one - who knows how long they'll make it? I have NO financial interst in this item - thought folks might like to know about it. |
