Ok guys...
I am looking for a reasonably priced (preferably under $100) Confetti Launcher/Cannon that will have these specs: 1. Only should shoot Confetti - no fire. I was originally looking at this launcher, but found that you needed to load in flash cotton and flash paper in order for the confetti to launch. So, no fire. Just confetti. 2. Needs to be foot switch operated and has to be on the floor of the stage. Also needs to have a long enough wire from the actual launcher to the foot switch. 3. Needs to shoot upward and NOT into the audience. So when I press the foot switch, it will shoot the confetti upward and will trickle down onto the stage. 4. Needs to be as small of a unit as possible. No bright colors or anything to really draw attention to it, and no huge launcher. The launcher I linked to above is 9.5" tall, which is a good height I am looking for. The smaller the better though. 5. Needs to shoot the confetti up high. The above launcher shoots it up to 15 feet, which is a good height I am looking for. 6. I don't want anything that will make a HUGE BANG or really loud noise. It's ok if there is a small sound from the pressure, but I don't want anything that would be too loud. I hope there is something out there that is what I'm looking for. Thanks! -Vinnie |

Hey Vinnie,
Yes, I would definately find one without fire. Theatres are getting tough on fire. Try a search for Co2 confetti launcher. I hope this helps. Magically, John

Check this out.
http://www.stevensmagic.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=6093 You will simply need to add a wire to extend the trigger mechanism. Then you should be able to release it using your foot. Kent

Hey Kent... That looks like what I'm looking for. Thanks!
But, I have a question about that one... The unit IS on the ground in front of you, right? And it does have a foot switch, right? Also, can you use just regular confetti instead of snowstorm loads with this? Thanks -Vinnie |

You can use confetti without any problem. Although it can be triggered by hand (that's the way I use it), it can be mounted to an object on the floor and you could easily rig a foot switch to it. The best way to find info is to call stevens directly.

Thanks Kent! I'll be in contact with Stevens to see if this thing is what I'm looking for... But just for the record, it doesn't come with the foot switch, you have to put it on yourself, right?
