Hi Guys

Just thought I would as the Experts here.

I got a Set of Darbys Yesterday, Non Adjustable, Nickle with one Key. No Spring type closing on the Cuffs like with the Irish 8s so you have to close them with the Key. No Stamp or Number on them though. Any idea as to which ones they are? I got them for a steal though at an antique shop. Bought them for R95. Works out to about Just over $10 or just under 7 Pounds. I will Try to take a Picture of them if you need.

I will bow to other people knowledge here but they wound like a pair I saw at the UKEA day. What shape is the key? does it have a notch cut out of it?

There is a pair that were made by Hiatts with this type of lock and they were made for the home office I believe. it could be a pair of thoes? Aparentyl they are quite rare. But saying that not sure if they are the same?

Just my thoughts (as I should be working).

No notch in the Key. They are the same as Irish 8 Keys. The Screw type key.
