I'm not sure whether this should go here or under "Tangled Web"...
While cleaning up around my computer the other day I found a several CDs of unlabeled music. I probably copied them once to leave in the car and protect my originals. One was vocal, so it was pretty simple to do an internet search on the lyrics and find out who the artist was, and the name of the CD. The others are instrumentals and are not recognizable songs, so they might be more difficult. My question - is there a way to "look" into the files and determine what these are if CDDB isn't able to identify them?
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

Song databases are your best bet including some that review the music and not the lyrics. I have found uploading to some of the share site sometimes gets results. Also some of your media players (itunes, wmp, realplayer...will automatically do a search to see if it is recognized). If you can provide us with a sample maybe we could help also.
