You could use a 9 inch silk. They are ideal for TT. Fit perfectly!

Mumblepeas, Where can I find info on vanishing large silks with no gimicks? Is it just a matter of misdirecting while stealing with the other hand?

Ryan,
Oh man, references, OK, here goes… Duane Laflin’s “Sensational Silk Magic” video has exactly what you want and is probably the best and least expensive way to start. Volume one of “Rice’s Encyclopedia of Silk Magic” (page 289 tells you what Dwain’s video showed you) will give you more than you ever will use on producing and vanishing silks! If you are going to get into silk magic in a big way then you might think about investing in all four volumes of this Encyclopedia. But volume one will do for now. Also, Pat Page’s video “25 Super Tricks” (now re-released by L&L) has a nice multi phase “Diminishing Silk” routine that is based on the barehanded vanish. Pat is a great magician and a good teacher. There are three references right off the top of my head, that are readily available from your favorite dealer or from http://www.magicsmith.com and fairly inexpensive (the tapes run about $20.00 USD and the book about $35.00 USD). I sort of listed in rank order of meeting your needs. I hope this helps a little.
The artist formally known as Mumblepeas!
