Howdy folks--
My day job is journalist, and I just did a cover story about magic for the weekly newspaper I work for. It's for the non-magician, but I hope you'll enjoy the quotes of Cody Fisher and Harry Lorayne, who were kind enough to serve as interviewees. (You may need to cut and paste this very long URL) http://www.ctnow.com/custom/nmm/valleyad......advocate I must add that both Fisher and Lorayne struck me as absolute gentlemen, and both were kind enough to pass on some welcome and (not surprisingly) astute advice to me as a newcomer, though I couldn't really include those things in the story. Enjoy! Seamus (aka James)

You said a lot of good stuff, and I got in as much as would fit-- hope you enjoy the results! I think the link above is just too long somehow, but you can also click the address below and then click the story, which is called Conjuring in the Orchard:

There is a tutorial somewhere on this website on how to take the name of a really long url and condense it down into something far more manageable for viewing. Check the FAQ section. If you can't find the answer there, there is a tech support forum up near the top.
