I learned it from "Instant Classics" lecture notes by Dan Harlan

It was also in Dan's Minataur magazine. I also think he performs and explains it on the DVD he did for International Magic in London.

Thanks guys. I'll pick up the DVD. I may be using this for my wedding in July if it feels right.

It's also on his "Pack Small, Play Big - All Purpose Show," and "Ultimate Impromptu Magic, Volume 2" DVDs. For reference purposes, the Minotaur issue it appeared in was volume 1, number 1 (February 1989). In addition to the notes that Barry already mentioned I also have it in another set of notes (no specific title, it just has a picture of Harlan on the cover page created from various typewriter characters [hard to explain, really...] versus line drawing). I think Dennis Loomis may have one if not both of the lecture notes.

BTW... Congratulations Chris!

Best of luck!!

Dan Harlan includes the Starcle effect in his lecture notes called "Plays" from 1999. It's a great effect and fun to perform.

It's on the international magic DVD and you get written instructions with it too.

Well I got the DVD and it's GREAT! The big day is this coming Saturday and I've got my starcle routine all ready to go. Thanks for the help guys!

I also recommend the DVD to anyone looking for some great new stuff. There are a couple real gems on this thing!
