Hi all!
I have a question for you all and wondered of anyone could point me in the right direction. I'm currently researching Levitation techniques. If you search on You Tube for "Levitation" + "Lighter than air" you'll see a post by ArsheyHaq who performs a stunning levitation in his living room. Now I know this guy got dragged into the whole X Levitation debacle a while back (please lets not get into all that again - from what I can gather from reading around it's clear this has nothing to do with that). Instead it looks more like the levitation illusion Criss Angle is seen to perform outside a white building (search You Tube for "Criss Angel - Levitate in public" to see it). Does anyone else agree that these are the same effects. If so, can anyone tell from the clips which effect it is and where it originates. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! Arshey.... video effect called a "white-out or wash-out".
Angel.... stooges, and once again, wash-out hiding the special thingys. If its to good to be true, then it probably isn't. Floating 6 feet in the air in the middle of a unsetup crowd is not going to happen. Kid levitates in his living room with nothing to hide.... not going to happen. If he could really do it, he would have picked a better location in the house where the backround wasnt terribly washed out. That same kid does the matrix levitation in a field. I called him on his video techniques being used and he got ****ed! Criss has his levitation where he floats from the ground 2 feet up to a chair on his dvd. Its a good one. Andrew Mayne has some simple ideas. |
