We all know about the man from Nantucket, but what about you? Got a limerick about you?

Hmmm. I'm afraid the only limericks I know would get me in serious trouble with the admins...

"About you" as in the limerick pertains to me or as in do I have a few on me? ie stored in my junk-filled memory banks?

There was a young man from Japan,
Who's limericks never did scan,
when they asked him why,
He said with a cry,
"It's because I try and fit as many words into the last line as ever I possibly can"

A sea captain's tender young bride,
Fell into the sea at low tide,
You could tell by her squeals,
That one of the eels,
had found her the best place to hide.

There was a young man from Australia,
Who painted his bum like a dahlia,
The pattern was fine,
and the colours divine,
But the smell was a complete falia.

Those are the classics I can remember.

A fellow called p g h dude,
Only new limericks so rude,
That if he wrote them out here,
He'd be out on his ear.
'Cos this ain't no place for the lewd.

How about one about yourself?

There once was a magician, Magic George.
who would entertain people while on their food they would gorge.
He could hold a break,
as they chomped on their steak.
Yet they couldn't tell he was about to forge.

or something like that?

LOL, cheers Justin. George is such a sod to rhyme.

The magnificent Mr Style,
Could produce silver dollars by the pile,
When he got to 10,
They said do it again,
He said "Not now, but I will, in a while"

try this:

Magic George is so so great,
he even did tricks while he ate.
He could make small objects disappear,
his knife, fork, food and even his plate.
But that's only half the reason
of why he's so great!

Magic Matt with the blue hair
Tried to float up in the air
Couldn't be done
Fell down on his bun
In full view of everyone at the fair

So next he tried some coin tricks
Whilst standing on a pile of bricks
Dropping them like J. Miller
Said this trick is real killer
And with that Matt got booed by pricks

Onward with Max Maven's Mentalism
Absolute truth in a world of relativitism
Tried to state the someone's name
Became a huge guessing game
Certainly not an act for FISM

Finally Magic Matt's Forte
A 52 card buffet
Select a card please
I'll find it with ease
Is this it? Yes. HOORAY!

Okay, So I'm bored at 1:30 in the morning. None of this really happened, it was just fun to make up.

P.S. just kidding with you Justin, you're like the best with coins!

I know, just kidding around with Justin Miller b/c he drops a couple of coins every lecture. He's a really nice guy (and Christian too!) and his tricks Silver dream and truine rock my socks off ( and if they do not for you then your shoes are too tight!) He's a limerick for the cool one:

Justin Miller had a silver dream
To one day make others gleam
So he invented Triune
Performed it Noon
Now others want to be on his team!

Check out Justin Miller's site for his new close-up tables, they're really cool.

Their are no magicians like me,
as everyone plainly can see,
no rabbit no hat, no I'm nothing like that,
it is "myself" that I truly must be...

I could not be a physician
not even a pedeotrician,
but give me a deck and I'll say what the heck
I must be a f....... magician

Emh114,

"I know, just kidding around with Justin Miller b/c he drops a couple of coins every lecture." is just a friendly poke, I wasn't making fun of him, but me, since I absoluetly suck at coin magic and also it shows that even the best of the best slip every now and then...the coin dropping is just a reference point for comic effect...Justin Miller absolutely gets my atmost/upmost (which ever belongs here) praise for what he does...I need to meet him sometime.

And he did get a cool limerick too...i wonder if he's seen it and if he would like it.

One for you:

Emh114 with arms of tattoos
Some may ask what he can do
Magic with wood
Graphics so good

We buried poor Fred,
because he was dead.
At the service a sermon was read out.
But his family was poor,
and they could not afford,
a stone, so we just left his head out.

Oh Dan that was a nice try
The humor of it so dry
I will not scoff
That the format's off
Needs to be about you, guy!

A wise man I know once said,
bad magicians he watches with dread,
with a wave of their arm and a smile without charm,
from a hat pulls a rabbit that's dead.
