Greetings Magic Lovers!
I did not know where this kind of post would be best posted so I picked here.. Here is a fun little quiz for all you Magic Lovers…? 1.) quote: Who said this..? "He would be a very lame performer who would simply take a card off the pack (or out of it) and hand it to a spectator with the remark, Here's your card." 2.) Who is know as the inventor of the telephone trick? 3.) What well know name in magic had a lot of stage fright which gave him an ironic advantage when performing mentalism? He would shake and break out into a sweat because he was so upset; his audiences believe that this was their "proof" that he was putting forth incredible mental effort! 4.) Who is know as the inventor of the book test? 5.) David Frederick Wingfield Verner is better know as…?(what name did he go by to magicians?) 6.) What well known magician that called himself the King of Card, is quoted as a subject matter expert in Dale Carnegie’s book “How to Win Friends and Influence People.” He appears in Part Two, Chapter One ("Do This and You'll Be Welcome Anywhere")? 7.) Who was referred to as the Dean of American Magicians? 8.) Who is known as the inventor of mental epic? 9.) Who was the first president of The Magic Circle 1905-06? Do you know what the Answers are? Does any one know for a fact any neat magic trivia..? Thanks Chuck |

1.) quote: Who said this..?
"He would be a very lame performer who would simply take a card off the pack (or out of it) and hand it to a spectator with the remark, Here's your card." Hint: I found the quote in a book titled "The Living End" And I believe you can find that same quote in "Downs' Art of Magic" |
