Since Mr. Osterlind has a vast repertoire and published works, I thought it would be interesting to see what people's favorite routines of him are.

Mine are:

-Digital Feedback ExtraOrdinaire
-Pegasus Page (although not his)
-Seafire Sequence
-Breakthrough Card System

What are yours?

Just can't help but add his watch routine and ultra board.

Watch Routine

Perfect C**ter T**r

Miracle Thought Prediction (From "Dynamic Mysteries"- put a card down, tell the spectator to just THINK of a card- turn it over, it's their card. Mindreading doesn't get any stronger... but it takes brass ba**s.)

Viewed ESP Card Prediction (Also from "Dynamic Mysteries"- perhaps the strongest routine ever with ESP cards... and they don't have to be marked)

Breakthrough Card System (The only deck a mentalist need carry. EVER.)
Change of Mind

Final Answer (As Chandler would say, "Can a q & a BE any simpler?")

Seafire Sequence

Metal bending- no one teaches it like Osterlind.

I have to say that his Breakthrough Card System lives up to its name. It really is a fantastic contribution to Mentalism. I probably use this more than anything else he's put out.

I also think his work with the center tear has been hugely important. It revolutionized a ton of center tearing after it. I'm still working with it myself, but it is very good.

Apart from those, I don't have a ton of experience with USING Mr. Osterlind's material, but what I've seen has been great, and I think if you get a hold of anything he's put out, you'll find something.

The idea of the Miracle Flying Cards, Predict-Tac-Toe, Perfect Center Tear, his drawing duplication, watch routine and work on bending is all great. Frankly, everything he has published is simply great if you are a mentalist or a magician. I've gotten ideas from Richard that I use with magic routines which take them to a new level.

Breakthrough card system!

I think Richard have a lot of good material but for me that card system has been most important because years ago that was my first step in to the mentalism. I started to do mental effects just with a playing cards and with a breakthrough card system. That´s why it means to me so much.

Another one that I like very much is Seafire sequence book test. For me that was one of the best book tests that I have ever seen. You can find it from Osterlind´s new DVD set - No camera tricks. Of course I haven´t done this book test because I just got my those DVDs. So, my opinion about that based just what I have seen. Anyway that have be a killer routine.

Some of the written booklets he has put out are awesome; just to read the thoughts instead of learn new tricks is very beneficial.

That's a tough one indeed!

Many of his works I admire greatly but do not, for one reason or another, use on a regular basis.

I will say this though...I have almost made a living with the PCT and BCS.

The actual effects that Mr Osterlind has graciously released to the brother/sisterhood are overwhelming, however I would say that all of the nuances and subtleties (much like the contributions of Banachek) may be worth even more.

Agreed, Spook-

The question has often been asked, "If a mentalist could REALLY read minds, what would it look like?"

Well, Miracle Thought Projection is EXACTLY what it would look like.

By the way, did any of you guys notice what card was named in RichardWave?

Miracle Thought Projection is my favorite. Now stop talking about before Richard gets any ideas to re-release it!

I've said nothing about great things about this effect since I began performing with it seven years ago! It feels and plays like the real thing to everyone involved.
