I have friends who have had one of my cards on their ceiling for literally several years. I have them in my house from times when friends come over. From the perspective of the card never being removed, I think the wax his more mysterious because nobody knows how it's sticking. The tack could be explained away (by someone who didn't see it happen) by assuming that someone just climbed a ladder and stuck a card to the ceiling. I guess I'll have to hope that nobody gets curious enough to pull mine down. There's one in my mom's garage that's been there almost two years! :) |

This thread has sort of steered way off course, but I've been thinking a lot about the various ideas, opinions and discussions regarding card on ceiling. Ironically, I'm the one who started off by saying that we should bother with such discussions. I'm starting to wonder now...
Having said that, I thought it would be interesting to take a poll, so I posted a poll regarding card on ceiling. You can find it on my blog. My web address is in my signature. Take a second to cast your vote. Thanks... |

Wow... Nobody's taken my offer to post their opinion on my blog. I think I may take the poll down. I'll give it one last shot.
If anyone wants to vote on their favorite card on ceiling method, go to my site (see my signature below), and click on the "Blog" tab. Thanks. |

Not to change the subject, but would this be a waste if you already have R. Paul Wilson's Royal Road and Ammar's ETMCM 1-3?

No. But only if you don't own a ton of other Sankey material. Many of the tricks can be found on The Very Best of Jay Sankey vol. 1-3 from LL Pub. That set is a great buy!

How long is the DVD? How many Disks?

The descriptions says the DVD is 100 minutes, 1 dvd could take that.
I seriously, seriously, seriously, wish that this dvd came out like 3 years ago for me. This would've helped me so much. I've probably spent more than 50 dollars learning just some few of those tricks. Anyone beginning or still learning the basics should get this dvd. I don't have it but the stuff you learn is what every card worker should have locked in his brain. |

Doesn't Sankey have a similar DVD, "Sleight Of Hand With Cards" - Jay Sankey?

Ross Bertram put the deck in the box when he did card on ceiling. This predates Sankey.
Someone mentioned Ammar being the first to bind up a deck -- that's not true either. Why make it up if you don't know it? Yeesh. |
