Patrick is a wise man. Workers is great, I have the big book and also the ebook, looking forward to The Magic Menu ebook. I also believe Carl Andrews work is under appreciated both his written and video material.

We just called it Mad Dog, didn't want to confuse you innocents out there. I couldn't tell your if it is Morgan or Mogen, you may be the expert on cheap wine, I'm not. Now if I need to know the flavors Night Train comes in I'll know who to ask.
I have noted that this Yorba Linda person loves pointing out spelling errors on my part. I believe he is some what fixated on me. If it makes him feel better I don't proof read posts and considering the level of skills most possess I don't think I'll start. |

Yep, all the material listed above is good. The Magic Menu has a high recommendation from me. Dan Fleshman's and Doc Eason's material are things to consider as well.

Jay Sankey has some good stuff. I especially like THE REAL WORK ON RESTAURANTS AND BARS. That helped me immensely, as he covers a lot of info too.

Sankey worked restaurants and bars? When? Didn't know that. Man there is a lot of good material. I'm writing a review on the re release of Scotty Yorks material and it is good stuff. For the bar you get that and Eason and you have a real good idea of how it works. The Dan Fleshman reference is good because, like Carl Andrews, many miss out on these guys and they are workers not just marketers. Once the Magic Menu is out on ebook it will be in the hands of those who can't find the first book any longer, same with the Workers Series. Between those two books alone you'll have enough material and ideas to keep you busy for a couple years or more. Then to see how it looks to work a restaurant Live At The Jailhouse is great. I know I'm just repeating things but trying to be helpful. Now I must go to the store, I have an urge to find some Pagan Pink Ripple....
