Hi strollingmagician,
Using a KK wallet, is more mystifying... the card is removed from the billfold section, which can be shown empty! Gigi |

Thanks gigi!
if you were to go out and do a show tonight, would you take the kk wallet (one wallet) or "bang on" (four wallets) with you in your pocket??? thanks. |

I would take the KK wallet. But my real choice would be '52-On-1 Card Miracle by Dick Barry.

Love the KK wallet and use it as my everyday wallet. Yes you can do it with a regular wallet if you look around for one and modify how and where you put the cards etc. However after doing it that way for awhile; I decided to invest in the KK wallet. It's been a good decision. Being able to show it as the only card in the wallet is a real plus. Not to mention that along with carrying KK in the wallet I have 2 $1s to a $2, $1/$5 switch, color monte and a mismade bill; I've got a whole 15 - 20 minutes of magic with me at all times.
If you don't mind the $150 investment; its a great purchase. I do wish the wallet had been sold separately for those that already owned the kk effect so that I could have bought it for less as I already had the original manuscript and cards etc. |

Alternatively the Heirloom wallet does the exact same job, and is just as nice, in fact a little smaller, which is better in my opinion, smaller, yet can still take all the cards and you can show the wallet after as empty. If you perform KK, I used to have KK and Heirloom in the same wallet, so you can perform either, depending on the situation you are in. You can either present the quick 'Name a card, I have one card in my... etc, or you can go down the path of 'You know...a lot of people ask me how I first got into Magic...(Pause for them to ask the question which gets a laugh), funny you should ask. Well, it all began... and you can carry on with Heirloom

Check out 'Time Warp' at the Magic Warehouse, a fantastic time prediction, with cards showing the time on a clock. It comes with a beautifuly made Heirloom, KK, leather wallet at a fraction of the cost.

Forgive me -- I know this thread's ostensibly about the KK wallet, but the Heirloom wallet is truly versatile with this effect (if you don't desire to use the additional goods that come with the official KK wallet).
I have (and have used) the Heirloom wallet for Heirloom, KK, and for its "Shogun II" wallet properties. It really lies flat, fits in a hip pocket, and can contain all the stuff for the basic Heirloom and KK effects. Time Warp and Bob Cassidy's Chronologue can also be used with the Heirloom wallet. I happen to currently be selling mine here on the Café, though, because I just keep too much regular stuff in my wallet, and I don't plan on doing both Heirloom AND KK every day. As much as I really like the Alakazam Heirloom wallet, I'm going back to my former regular wallet.

I own both KK and BO and I feel the KK is far better, first you only need one wallet not 4.And the one off has allways been a killer for me, also you can use it for a ton of other stuff.
