Hi,

I've been getting requests for a dolphin lately -- does anyone have a link to good instructions for a good, simple figure?

thanks,

Check it out!!
Bad to the Balloon #1 is available thru any major magic shop or balloon vendor or directly through me!! Fast shipping. Or at http://stores.ebay.com/Devotion-Pictures

A clip of the opening sequence is available on YouTube.com:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNXzX4tMBI4

The DVD is fantastically filmed with lush on location backgrounds. Each segment is shot twice performance style and close-up. There are few language barriers as I do not speak during the DVD. There is a ingredient menu on each sculpture. It is a great video for all levels. There is a basic twist menu separate from the main movie. The best compliment we have had on this project is laypeople enjoy watching it. There are 12 hats with 2 views, 13 basic twists & knots shot high contrast and over the shoulder and the best thing it only runs less than 1 hour!! (minus the 13 minute Basic twist section)

Includes instructions to make:
Shark • Dolphin • Mermaid • Surfer • Tiki • Duck • Gator • One-Eyed Monster • Pirate • Tower • Swan • Dragon

It retails for $24.99 with $5 shipping and handling

If you don't believe him believe me, and note I not only don't know Mark but he doesn't email me back when I send letters of admiration, it is a very well done DVD and the hats look great.

Comedy Writer,

Here is a link to a simple Dolphin figure instruction:

It looks nice.
I tried it and did not like the end result very much, but you may like it.

GET BAd to the balloon .... the DOLPHIN hat is fantastic ....

BUT got to luv the duck!

My 3 year old loves it and ... I showed it to my students last night (all adults .... and chicks (not that this bit is relevant) but they loved it also! They were blown away. How teh hell do you do that? it looks SO hard!

Yet in truth even an inept balloon moddelller (and speller)like me can do it from watching it 2 times! once for fun the second time to make.

Like Mark said no language barrier as all teh communication is visual (obviusl not helpful for blind people ..... may be he can bring out a brail copy? not sure how that works on DVD?? Smile )

I would defenityl recoment the DVD. And also not met mark (but he has emailed me .... telling me it would have been cheeper to buy direct from him than the ebay shop in the UK that I got it thorought ...... I am all set for the next DVD and will be getting it.

Mark,

I have your first tape and really like it. I know you thank all these places you shoot your videos. I'm curious, do you have to get some kind of formal agreement with them before you begin shooing?

Why who's asking??

My producer was nervous at first about this. And yes we have tried the front door approach. I like the philosophy of it is easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission.

We also try to keep to public lands or right of ways. Its not a problem, till it's a problem.

Example yesterday we went to the SPCA. They were closed so we shot in front of the place.

Based on the first DVD I couldn't see how anyone could or would find it beneficial to complain. There was no insult, it showed the area in a complimentary way, you were not scamming off anyone. I'm a no harm no foul kinda guy.

Hi CW:

Another video is Arthur Tivoli's Balloon Video. He shows how to make a one-balloon dolphin which I think is terrific!
