Okay, some of you may not have the slightest clue what I'm talking about, it may only be my fellow Canadians, heck maybe even just the folks from Toronto, but here it goes.
There use to be a kids show on tv, around 12pm weekdays, called Uncle Bobby. And once or twice a week he'd have a magician on the show to perform a few tricks. Obviously it was my favourite part. Anyway, I can't for the life of me remember the magicians name. And I'm wondering if he's still performing or if he's still alive. For some reason, as I type this, I think his last name might have been Lenord. ? Just curious Liquid B |

Wow. This is spooky. I was just asking myself the same question the other day. I only wish I knew the answer!
I remember this guy -- after performing a trick he would say "It's ma-a-a-a-gic." I drove my family crazy by singing the same phrase over-and-over as I performed the amazing Rubber Pencil illusion. I'll put my sleuthing skills to work and find out the guy's name. Stay tuned. Well, it didn't take as long as I thought. His name was Ron Leonard, and he was on the Uncle Bobby Show for more than 20 years. Unfortunately, he died in 1998. He had three sons, so who knows -- maybe one of them is a performer somewhere. His vitals can be found at: http://www.canadianmagiciansarchive.homestead.com/L.html |

Good work Barry. My faith in your sleuthing skills has never been stronger.
I had forgetten about the 'It's maaagic.' part. Perhaps I'll add that to the end of my routine. Or, maybe not. Liquid B |
