Hi,
Any recommendations on Billiard Ball videos. Please in 2 categories: 1. With sh..l 2. With regular balls only |

A good video that includes both of your categories would be Jeff McBrides World Class Manipulation series. (3 volume set)

I'd start with the Tim Wright and the McBride videos. Get a good working knowledge of the basics and then work up to the Shimada video. His moves are pretty challenging.

I understand that Scott Cervine also included some unique though on his video. I haven't seen it though

Brad Burt's Billiard Ball teaching video is a great one. He spends a lot of time explaining both regular balls and s...l. This video is 90% billiard balls and 10% thimbles. Well worth the 30 bucks.

I vote for the Tim Wright video! I've seen him perform his routine on many occasions and its the best I've ever seen. Very entertaining!

IF someone (like me) has the McBride's manipulation videos, then does it make sense to also have the Tim Wright ball manipulation tape?
Secondly, has anyone heard about "manipulation lotion" that is used to put on your hands to help during manipulations? Thanks. Jim
Oh, my friend we're older but no wiser, for in our hearts the dreams are still the same...

Hello James,
I've never heard of "manipulation lotion". Come to think of it, I don't think I'd be able to perform Billiard Balls with ANY lotion on my hands. *slip* *slip* *drop!* Always looking forward to your posts, Randy Stwart |

Delphin,
Check out Geoffrey Buckingham's video (the magic and manipulation of..). He shows you his award winning manipulation act including his 14(!!) ball manipulation. Not really explaned, but good for a example and he shows you how to steal. Enjoy. Ron

Manipulation lotion is used to make the hands "stickier" Objects don't slide when you use it. A must have.
Practice with it if it works for you. Also try Sort Qwik. It is used by bank tellers and postal employees. It is also readily available under different names. Joe |
