You are cheating. There are six moves to the Mills mess you are pulling back on moves two, and five. The way to overcome that is to practice three moves at a time.

I hope you don't mind me intruding, but there seems to be no point in starting another topic about this

I'm trying to learn Mills Mess as well and to be honest, I think there are too many balls. Does anyone have a nice suggestion on how to learn? I'm getting the feeling picking balls up from around the room isn't getting me anywhere... On the other hand, that is the way I learned to juggle a long time ago, but I guess there isn't a better option?

Welcome to the magic Café. I can't teach you the Mills mess here, but I do have several suggestions.

Work very hard on your weaker hand.

Practice over your bed so you don't have to chase balls all over the room.

There are six moves to the Mills mess. I learned by practicing three moves at a time.

My main problem seems to be throwing accurately, so I guess I'll have to start working on that. I wonder why I am able to juggle three balls 'normally' without having to chase them around the room...

Am I right if I think the last three steps are the first three in reverse? It might just help if I was able to think more about what I'm trying to do instead of wondering where those balls are going

My father has seen Robert Blake perform at a work-related event, but sadly I wasn't there to see it as well. I heard everybody liked the guy and his performance. But beautiful laws?
