I am sure it has been discussed before but I searched for postcard on the Café and didn't find much?

Where is the best place to order postcards? cheapest and best quality?

Cheers,

James

I've always used http://www.overnightprints.com/ They have a small minimum order and they are easy to deal with.

Another popular one that some of the Café members like is:

I have also used overnightprints.com for business cards and postcards and other materials I have designed for my entertainment and business clients. they do very good quality work and the prices and minimum runs are really great. You can't go wrong withthem in my book. I just did photo business cards and they not only look perfect but I got them in 3 days and did not pay much at all.

might work for you. They have branches all over OZ
You can order online, the printing gets done in Perth
and they send it to you.

Not the cheapest, but they do a great job.

Most of the outlets have a resident designer
who can work up the art work... or talk to Kyle Smile
or post a project on elance.com

I'll also echo overnight prints - they're about the cheapest 4-color 2/sided postcards you'll find anywhere.

Maybe I am missing something. I have always thought Overnight prints was a bit expensive.

For instance, 1000 double sided 4/4 color 4 x 6 postcards at Overnight costs $114.95
At Gotprint, the same type and quantity are $64.95.

Does someone have some knowledge I don't?

Those in the UK and Ireland, http://www.printing.com are doing an offer of the month, 1,000 postcards for £64. I've ordered two different sets, and had all my stationary from them before. Highly Recomended!

Your right Brent. But I don't remember paying that much. Usually they have some sort of sale going on. Or maybe they raised their prices? But I'll probably check out gotprint from now on. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Yes.

Overnightprints is also $64.95 for 1,000.
As well if you're smart w/overnight prints you order in multiples of 4,000.
See you can either pay $65 for 1,000 or $125 for 4,000. That's 3,000 extra cards for only $60 more.

Plus their service is impeccable.

Hey Robert,

Maybe you are seeing something I'm not. This is the link I have for their pricing: http://www.overnightprints.com/main.php?A=pricing#postcards

I see $114.95 for 1000, am I mistaken?

Thank you!!!!!!!!

I've been trying to re-order my p-cards from my "former" printing company, and no one will return my calls!

Their loss, overnightprints gain.

Troy; As a graphic designer, I use Overnightprints.com for allmy own personal design workas wellas work I design for my design clients. They have excellent quality, great turn around times and great prices to go with it. I have been very happy with their work that have done with the designs I have created. The templates make it easy to make sure your design is uploaded correctly and the payment and shipping process is a breeze. Let me know if I can be of any help to you or answer any questions as you prepare your stuff to upload. It would be my pleasure to help if I can.

I called up overnightprints and their customer service is awesome. She guided my through something I needed help with and then more. She told me a few secrets about the site, as well as how to edit a print if you see a mistake and need to fix it.
thanks

John: That is so great to hear. That is one reason why I have chosen to guide my design clients to using overnightprints.com whenever I can. I do not get anything for doing so, but as a graphic designber, I like their quality, customer service and turn around times. Their prices are also very hard to beat on some items and they are really great top work with. It is wonderful to see you had a similar good experience.

I too have used http://www.OvernightPrints.com $50 for 1,000 double sided glossy business cards. And they do a great job with postcards.
