Not sure if this is the right place for this
Vanishing a Statue for T.V I am trying to find out a method to vanish a statue. The illusion is for T.V and can have the audience set up. We have controlled lighting and all that stuff. To see picks of the statue please visit: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=11......47290873 Any help will be much appreciated. Cost: +- $2000.00 Thanks Ilan

If the show is not live, the best way is to have the video edited. Look for a professional video/film editing shop in your area.

You can't use the Copperfield method!
And camera moving too! So like Dynamike suggests make a video edit! |

I love magic and even enjoy TV magic. To me it doesn't matter. However, let me throw out a question and see what you guys (and gals) think. Do you think that the laymen audience is impressed with a statue vanish? I mean, they already question Blaine and Angel on things that just aren't physically possible (ex. walking on water, walking up the side of a building, etc.). In this day and age, does it impress them to see someone vanish a statue or do you think they immediately say "camera trick" and change the channel? Personally, I like it due to the fact that I am an illusionist and am entertained by seeing others perform. What do you think?
