Yes, I got the email from Kelly with the offer for regular customers. Did you get the controller for the laptop from them yet? Gothike, I did get to see your promo video on your site, too. Decent.

Well, I'm sick and tired of all the mis-cues with my current iPod remotes (three different ones), so I just ordered this system.

Steve,
I have a custom laptop controller from Wireless Wizardry, its basically the same hardware in the MP3Tech. G0THIKE |

Thought you were trying to buy one from VSM the last couple days.

Brian,
I KNOW you're gonna love the iCue2. I think Gothicke would be happier with it than the laptop, but that's just my opinion. I tested out the "Performer" (laptop) system, and didn't like having to find a place to put the computer. Which did you buy, the iCue2, the new iCue2 Mini or the iCue2 Tabletop model? Steve |

Again what is the difference between the iCue2 and the Mini?

The iCue2 has the digital display built in, the mini doesn't, it just has indicator lights across the top to show activity and remote reception. Check out the http://www.virtualsoundman.com site and it'll show you the differences, both in construction and cost.

Another difference:
iCue2 charges your ipod while in pause mode. The mini does not.

I have been wanting an Icue 2 for a while. Latley I have been paying someone to run my sound. But I would really like to do it myself so I can save money. I think it would be a good investment.

Can't recommend the iCue2 highly enough. I used a Wireless Wizardry "ShowTech" for 15 years, and love the plug and play ability, and the ability to change your show track order once you get to the venue if there's a problem. Some people will tell you that "it's alright, you just skip the unwanted track using the remote", but WHY? And, they'll tell you, "you have the capability of having 10 (however many) different shows programmed in", but again, WHY? The iCue2 can have as many shows programmed in as you want, using the "on the go" playlist.
Go to the Virtual Soundman website today, do yourself a favor and buy one! Steve |

I love my Icue2. Would love to have another digital display. I wish they were just a little cheaper (the display unit).

I have the iPrompter, if that's the one you're talking about. It's truly "plug and play". You plug it in, and it's reading and displaying. You have the choice of display sizes and brightnesses, too. Very handy. I took my "pole mount", and attached velcro to the underside (the topside already has it) for the iPrompter. That way, all my info is instantly available in a single glance at the speaker stand.
