I received an email from Magicbox today to say they received one of the 2 boxes I sent. I have also checked the tracking of the second box and it says it will arrive Tuseday (this Tuesday). They will be sending out Linked stright away. I will also NEVER do or allow pre order on any of my effects as this has created such a nightmare for everyone. Linked was put up as pre order when Switcher, Cutting Edge and Back 2 Front was sent.

I love magic and have done ever since I started at 5 years old.

Again my aim is simply to create new visual magic, not to create bad feeling.

How could it take one month to get there.

The issue is that Richard said the boxes were shipped, and then admitted to Magicbox that they had not been shipped, And his response above gives no indication of that, even though he told Magicbox that he would issue an explanation/apology on the magic forums. We all understand delays, lost shipments, etc,. but he refuses to accept responsibility for deliberately lying to all those here on the Café, as well as to the people at Magicbox. I am personally appalled at his complete lack of professionalism and the total lack of respect for all those who placed orders. If I am incorrect, I am willing to apologize directly to you, Richard, but all indications are that you deliberately lied and still refuse to admit it. Care to respond?

No one has lied.

I have designed an effect and manufactured it. Pre order was posted on Magicbox and a date given. The order was sent and DID NOT arrive. That is not mine or Magicbox fault. I have re-manufactured the Linked order and sent them.

Magicbox have received one of the boxes I sent and are due the second, as they were sent on different days, due to the last problem.

I am not here to get a bad name. Why would I?

I do appologise again for the delay but there was simply nothing I could do.

Every single other effect I have released has been delivered in store and on time.

I have tried to answer all questions and keep people up to date.

What exactly is it you want me to say?

I appologise for the delay. 400 Linked, which were hand made and took just over a month to manufacter were lost. Beleive me I am NOT at all happy about it and am still fighting the delivery company.

Unfortunatly and very angrily, we are still waiting for linked gimmicks from
the manufacturer.
He has promised to post on all magic forums that HE HAS NOT YET, SENT THEM
TO US as previously stated.
He has told us (again) they will be sent out this week.

We have set a deadline, and if we do not recieve them they will be removed
from our site.

This is what I am referring to, the fact that Magicbox says you admitted not having sent the items and would apologize on the forums. You cannot both be right, and following your posts here on the Café, it seems that you are not being honest. What people want is for you to simply admit, without excuses, that you did not tell the truth, you apologize for that and will not do so again. People are very forgiving if they feel they are given the truth, but harbor long-standing resentment when they feel lied to. Many politicians have lost their positions by trying to lie about a matter that would have quickly blown over if they had simply admitted the truth (if Clinton had admitted he had sex with Monica Lewinsky, there would haev been a minor scandal but a month later it would have been of little consequence). You have taken no responsibiliity in your posts, and insist that you have been honest, when all the information is to the contrary. I really don't care, as I didn't pre-order, I just wound up being a messenger because Magicbox asked if I wouldn't mind posting on the Café to try to quell some of the speculation. Do what you want, but if you really want to do yourself and your reputation a favor, tell the truth. This post is not about other effects, I really don't care about other effects, this is about LINKED. You have LIED over and over again, admit it. You probably won't. Who really cares any more. This is my last post on this. Richard you should be barred from this Café, really tired of your lies and your excuses.

Now by no means am I picking sides here since all I know is the gist of the thing. But didn't we have the same issue with Yigal's Electric Touch, Masuda's WOW, Greg Wilson's Freakey and honestly god knows who else these past two years. I had pre-ordered all of those items and waited in anger and regret. I have yet to order this because I really didn't pay to much attention to all the hype. But it sounds like were being harder on this guy then we were on the others. Just wanted to voice my opinion that's all. Please no attacks. Just an observation...
