Wouldn't it be great if the posts that followed were filled with glowing reviews of how wonderful "LINKED" actually is?... Wouldn't it be great if we all clapped hands and Tinkerbell came back to life?

Well, anyway, I think either of those things would be really great.

Let me get this straight.

You still haven't filed for a refund and don't know any better of it's availability (or lack of it) ??

Mind boggles.

I think if linked is not delivered on the weekend we should all ask the mods to lock the thread before more slander is posted cousing the thread to vanish.

I mean why should we keep on talking about something that is just not available (or nonexistent) ?

I think this should be end of story as far as this product is concerned.

I received 'Linked' today. It is really very good, though I haven't yet had the opportunity to try this out in the real world (it will take some practice to get the knack down pat). The patter is excellent, but the whole 'cure for impotence' thing will probably fly over the heads of my audience so I'll use the other option '#2' on the menu). I also think that in the future, if an effect is going to use such a gaff, the vendor should be more upfront about it. Not wanting to give too much away, there's a certain fiberglass thing that will not last forever and I don't want to have to buy refils every four-five performances. I suppose it could be solved using a lighter instead of the suggested ***d b***d, but now that smoking is so out of fashion even the lighter is not a perfect solution because people don't seem to have one that can be easily borrowed.

Anyway, I look forward to hearing what others think (and to know if you've had any bright ideas about the fiberglass m****t).

Please refrain from slandering my country's name and making childish comments simply because you can't wait to receive your magic toy. Grow up and be patient! You should receive yours any day now. (For the record, no I did not receive 400 units by accident, so they're still out there).

Back to Linked: This is a very workable routine and my fears about the sturdiness of the gaff are pretty much unfounded since I've now tried it almost 30 times in practice and there's barely wear-and-tear. It FEELS wobbly (those of you who have this will know what I mean) but it doesn't actually get any weaker as far as I can tell. Well worth the money, that's for sure!

I still can't say how an audience will react because I haven't tried it, but I'll give it a shot after a few more rehearsals (it's more the patter that needs work than the actual moves, which are easy. Unless you work for adult audiences you will NOT want to use patter #1!!!).

Wasn't meant to slander your country's name but ad some humour as to how you received it instead of Magicbox.

Just to absolutely certain here - you are talking about the effect whereby you tear a hole in a card then link it with a wine glass ? Its just that none of your gaff hints seem to make any sense for this effect.

Thanks

I have just recieved a phone call from Magicbox explaining that they have yet to recieve any of the order of the Linked effect and that when they do they will phone back and let me know,
I presume that they are phoning arround people who have it on pre-order,
So a big thank you to Magicbox for keeping me informed,

john

Hi,

I received an email from Magicbox today to say they received one of the 2 boxes I sent. I have also checked the tracking of the second box and it says it will arrive Tuseday (this Tuesday). They will be sending out Linked stright away. I will also NEVER do or allow pre order on any of my effects as this has created such a nightmare for everyone. Linked was put up as pre order when Switcher, Cutting Edge and Back 2 Front was sent.

I love magic and have done ever since I started at 5 years old.

Again my aim is simply to create new visual magic, not to create bad feeling.

Best,

Richard

This doesn't jive with what Richard stated last week. What's the story now?

Wonder why you guys still haven't claimed your money back.

You're willing to buy something of a guy who has LIED you over and over again. not many known dealers or creators would get away with this sort of thing.

GET YOUR MONEY BACK and don't let him have a penny from your pocket. Why O why you want to buy something of such "creator" .
