Did anyone else hear Marc Salem on howard stern on tuesday? It didn't go well. He didn't seem to have anything planned and just seemed to wing it. They also talked a lot about the pre-show work he did with Artie, and why he had him write things down ahead of time. Listeners also phoned in to explain possible solutions to how he might know what artie wrote down

I was a little surprised how a total pro like Mark Salem was not controlling the situation. Of course it was gonna be tough with Howard and crew but Mark should have had a killer mentalism classic to close with.

Also he should have had Artie write the word there in the studio on a clipboard or some other peek device. ( of course they still would have given him a tough time )

As I recall, in the past Kreskin has been on Howards show and always did well.

Radio isn't as easy as you think

I love Howard and I also love mentalism. While I was excited and glad to see Howard giving a mentalist some air time, I was also disappointed Marc didn't come through stronger. It was still cool though.

What effect did he do?

He tried to guess the serial number on a bill that robin had (with only some success)and a book/newspaper test (which didn't work). Everything he did happened because they challenged him to do it, with the exception of revealing what word Artie's late father had decided on as a code word like houdini.

Personally, I think for Marc to reveal that word was in very poor taste and completely ruined its purpose.
