Very cool and very usable! This is one that can be used to supplement many routines, can be an effect in and of itself, or can simply be a very interesting conversation piece.
I'm waiting for a few other props to add to the "effectiveness" of the eye for the things I want to do with it. Until then, it is going to be fun to watch people "keeping their eye on the eye." Chris |

I took my daughter to the brand new Ripley's Museum in Times Square yesterday. She had blast. I thought the dead albino giraffe was very decorative, particularly from the second floor landing.
It had been a long time since I had been in one of these museums, were the descriptions of the items always dumbed down to maybe a paragraph at best? I know they don't want us to linger...but really. Anyhow, many shrunken heads and tiny mummified hands on display in Times Square and each display will make you ever so proud of your own Higley's. I was so reminded by this visit of Doug's attention to the minute macabre details. I liked my Higley stuff at home better My daughter charmed me into buying her a stuffed Pig with six legs at the Ripley's gift shop...there was nothing else of interest at the shop. I went home and promptly ordered another Higley creation. Believe it. |

Geez, guys! Now I have to adopt one . . .
True story, back in my close up days, I told a guy to "keep his eye on the cards", he took out his glass eye and placed it on my deck. It was wild! Now, to do this to another card geek . . . Higley's stuff is tops, and I just ordered a Relic, so here goes . . . Thanks, Doug. Love your stuff! Left my DM at Michael Fraughton's house last week. It gave his wife quite the scare when she happened across it. Cheers, Jerome.

Check out Magicurios' "Eye of the Beholder", it's a bizarre edition of Kineti-Crystal, and plot it basically Jerome's story.
Spooky... You can find it here http://www.magicurios.com/ModShop/ShowProduct/27705/

True story:
A package arrived for me today. I opened it up, inside was an eye in a jar. As I picked it up and brought it towards my face to have a good look at it, it turned inside the jar and had a good look at me. I almost dropped the d@mned thing. (This is absolutely true, no exaggeration.) Doug, you do beautiful work. No I have to sit down and read the instructions. More on this tomorrow. I am eye-lated! Tony Tony |

Wow! I should have realized how beautiful, creepy, and effective this eyeball would be. I've shown this to a number of individuals (mostly children; I know, how could I?) and gotten incredible reactions ranging from outright horror/delight to a prolonged stare and a curled lip... I'm adding this to my walk around Dark Museum routine. Doug's stuff is the best and just keeps getting better. Unbelievably high-quality work. Wow.

Received mine this week. Thank you Doug. I took this out of the jar to dry out as instructed, and was still shocked at how gruesome this looks even sitting on the counter. Looks awfully real to me. Makes me wonder what your inspiration for this was.

Whilst "my" eye isn't all seeing but rather stares straight ahead with a fixed gaze, I thought I'd post my discovery here.
Being of the MTV generation, I duly skipped Doug's instruction about drying off the eye between performances and had until now left it floating in the fluid it arrived in. Earlier today when getting my stuff together to do the effect I discovered that it has got some grey/green'sh fungal patches on it that mostly don't come off. I must say that it now looks a lot older, darker and even uckier than it did before. Smells a bit though and I'm certainly glad I've caught it when I did. Whilst I wouldn't have done this deliberately if I'd realised, I'm actually kind'a pleased. However, the moral of this story is dry your eyes between performances. Jon. |

Thanks Jon. The reason of course, is if you are using a bit of coffee or tea to colorize the 'Fluid'...a simple drop of Dish Soap will prevent this if you get lazy or can't change the 'Fluid' over period of time.
I would add that everyone, despite the generation should read all the words on the instruction sheets...not many wasted words there, they all have a purpose.
