There are several models in Order:
Fender Passport P-150: ($400)(The first version.) Fender Passport PD-150 Deluxe ($540) (PD stands for Passport Deluxe and a change occurred in the speakers so they sound more crisp.) Fender Passport PD-150 Deluxe Plus ($580) (This is the newest unit which contains a CD Player and other improvements listed below) Fender's 150 Watt Passport P-150 PA system (the P 150) has been discontinued. The 150-watt Fender Passport P-150 PA system defines the standard in true portability. It includes everything you need for complete amplification in a self-contained package that weighs less than 30 lbs. Designed to be set up in minutes, this product is an ideal sound source for live music, meeting rooms, presentations, parties - even karaoke. Amplify voices, musical instruments, CD’s, tape playback and more. Designed with simplicity, reliability and efficiency in mind, this PA system is truly remarkable – you don't have to be a sound engineer to get professional quality results. If you need more features or power, you can move up the line to the Fender Passport Deluxe Series 150. The P-150 system includes 2 speaker cabinets with built-in stand mounts, a 3-channel mixer with reverb and tone controls plus one Fender P-51 microphone kit. If you need wireless microphone options, you can either purchase the proprietary Fender Wireless Hand Held Microphone System, the Fender Wireless Executive System or, our TOP OF THE LINE choice, the UHF-6400 microphone package system, which offers 64 channel UHF selection and True Diversity, a feature which helps to avoid wireless microphone signal interference. The Fender Passport PD-150 PA system improves on the standard Passport 150 as mentioned above. It sounds more like a home theater than a public address system! The proprietary design delivers high fidelity audio with wide horizontal projection, remarkable clarity and digital reverb - characteristics not usually found in a traditional PA. At the core of the Deluxe series is a highly evolved loudspeaker design — the Deluxe Speaker Array (DSA). Fender co-developed the proprietary speaker component and enclosure designs with one of the most prominent and innovative loudspeaker technology companies in the world. Fender Passport PD-150 PLUS PA (Black Box Look) The Fender Passport PD-150 Plus PA system improves on the 2nd version of the Fender Passport PD-150. It sounds more like a home theater than a public address system just like the PD-150 version! The PD-150 Plus has many of the great features of its Passport predecessor, the upgraded PD-150, plus great new features including a built-in CD player, true stereo, a more powerful class "D" stereo power amp and an upgraded digital reverb. The easily portable 150-Watt PD-150 Plus gives you a four-channel mixer, specialized DSA speaker design, innovative feedback rejection system (anti feedback) and luggage-style molded black case. Also operates with wireless accessories. The proprietary design delivers high fidelity audio with wide horizontal projection, remarkable clarity and digital reverb - characteristics not usually found in a traditional PA. At the core of the Deluxe series is a highly evolved loudspeaker design — the Deluxe Speaker Array (DSA), for superior sound in any application. Fender co-developed the proprietary speaker component and enclosure designs with one of the most prominent and innovative loudspeaker technology companies in the world.

I have heard that there is a BIG difference. The P-150 is an OLD model. If you do buy it you should get it at a significant discount.
Check the internet for price comparisons.

Phantom power means certain channels have built in power for microphones that require batteries, thus eliminating the need for batteries in those microphones when they are plugged into the channels that have phantom power.

PD-150 will have better sound and more bass. Side by side there would be a big difference. If you can afford it get the PD version it IS better. I have set dozens of these up a trade shows and other events and I owned a PD-250 for a few years until I out grew it.
Good Luck, Fitz
