It may be 'easier' to use a bottle with a large label. (as filmed)

How are the angles with these?
What's the max amount of people you can perform this for?

We have put a demo on the Excalibur page. Please realize this was shot overnite and its only part one.

Yes, Thank you.
I still would like to see it in real test conditions though where one would normally use it with a regular average size beverage bottle to see the revelation.

Especially with the Soda Surprise.
Will there eventually be a full demo?

I can't make a demo myself, because of the lack of a camera.

Angles are pretty much surrounded for Excalibur, so you can perform to a lot of people.

Darn, I really was hoping to see a clip of the full monte in actual performance.
Or, at least one after the other.

Just to say, these can't be performed one after the other... they both are to be performed at separate times. They both rely on different methods

Christopher,
I just wanted to thank you for your help in this project.

And, for those of you who want to see the "Full Monte" of this effect. We are currently in negotiations with a Professional Filming Company to do all our DVD's and demos. They have a large amount of Magic experience that they can bring to the screen. I hope to have the Demo from them possibly within the week. The Demo should answer everyones questions and provide a real world experience that you all long to see. If everything goes well this may be made on DVD. But, at this point its just a little in the Air. I should know more later today possibly tomorrow.

I am very excited about this trick...for the Creators, Precision Magic, and all those who perform it in the future.

Ok, so Excalibur is NOT a signed card, just a selected card.

How flexible & versatile is the other one?
Can you do the soda one with clear liquid (like 7 Up) with the label off or no?

Hey there,

Thought I'd drop you guys a line and let you know about Darren McQuade's version of Card in Bottle - I've used it myself a few times. It's a great version, and is very visual, which most versions of the card in bottle seem to lack.

You do need a label, but that's a bit of a non issue. You can use a smaller bottle, although I think the larger bottle makes the effect more visual... I have a bottle set up at home that I use to show people.

Another cool point is that you don't have to touch the bottle at the time of the magic... Darren's method works if you simply place the bottle on the floor and spring the deck at it.

Finally, although it isn't possible with a signed card (which may be more of a problem to some of you than others) there would be no problem doing this with the old "torn corner" dodge, and have the spectator confirms the piece matches the card in the bottle.

I can't say that I've seen the other effect being sold with it, but I look forward to checking it out.

Rock on,

Liam.

Just to update those interested in Excalibur. It is due to start shooting on Monday a week from today. The Manuscript was compiled by one of our own here on the Café Christopher Williams. I want to thank you publically for all the hard work you put in on Excalibur as well. Thanks!
