Can anyone recall or name this program. Very vague I know it was called "something something cabaret" ... it was on a good 12 plus years ago ... I remember watching it as a kid on late night TV in the UK.

Some scenes involved: a piece of string coming to life on the table, the performer gets rather angry and starts hacking it to bits, it continues to wriggle and wrath, he then grabs a tommy gun and fires showers of bullets, splintering the table, yet the still the pieces of string wriggle.

They had the hand with had lurgies, a hand, moving around in a handcuff, in the centre of stage.

Plus more bizarre magic and illusions. I wish I could see it now I would probably appreciate it some much more .... just seem so weird when I was kid thou.

I have recordings of both seasons of the show which I transfered on dvd, but obviously a proper official dvd version is always welcome!

Looks like the official release will be an edited version.I don't care I have tehs eries on DVD also!

The DVD of Secret Cabaret has been released.Note it only has Simon Drake's effects on it.No sideshow people,no carnys,no special guest magicians.
