Thanks Bill, I keep your photo (from TC&BM Cups)on the shelf that I keep my Cups on. You sit next to Rannie and Tom Fenton, so you are in good company. Pete your photo (signed magazine) sits on the shelf with the books.
Yes the photo of Mark and Nani is pretty cool. Thanks, Bruce |

Mark Wilson is one of the Texas guys who made it big. Nani had a lot to do with it.
There are a lot of guys who think they can do it better than Mark, but if you knew how hard he worked to achieve what he did, you wouldn't envy him at all.

I met Mark and Nani last year but unfortunately didn't get to spend any time with them! I'm hoping they'll be the the Hocus Pocus bash again this year!

I had the pleasure of meeting Mark and Nani a couple years ago at Denny's and was priveleged to sit around and listen to their stories. The amount of work they put into what they did was incredible and the way they improvised on the fly even more so. I was laughing my tail off at the stories of some of their mishaps and how they turned them into some of the most mind boggling effects. They kept saying..if only the public knew.... Great people that had a work ethic and dedication beyond compare.

Here are two pics of my small cups collection, posed with balls from Pascaline Danis and fruit from Ammar:

I have never thought of myself as a "cup collector." I just buy cups with which I'm likely to perform.
But as I think of all the pieces I have stuck away in cases and boxes, it turns out I have more than I thought. An original set of Sisti brass, a Johnson set, an aluminum Monte set, a couple plastic beginner sets, the Super Shibby street cups I just bought, two pocket chop cups (and another on the way), and a full-size Don Alan chop cup. That's almost enough to photograph and brag about, I guess. |
