Love the Pumpkin Ax! What a fantastic idea. Halloween isn't quite as big a deal over here in the UK (although Penny and I do always decorate the house and have a party) but I bet this will be really popular in the States.
BTW - Your Gorilla puppet has just made his debut in my show and the kids LOVE him!

I have to disagree with your "safe" fog spray. Breathing in particles of mineral oil does not seem like a good idea whether DJs do it or you use it in someone's home. The "fog" has to go somewhere and it eventually spreads all over the house with an oily residue, except for the fog that gets breathed in by the children. You might get away with a few quick puffs of smoke from a Dragon puppet on a stage with a good ventilation system, but I urge people to think twice about filling an entire room area with fog, especially where there are kids in the audience.

Thanks for the great words on the Jack-o-Lantern puppet! It was a lot of fun making....I've been planning it for years. We also have a new Dolphin puppet that squirts water! http://www.axtell.com/new.html
Spell... We don't make the fog spray ourselves but we added a link to the MSDS sheet if you want to read it on the webpage. The manufacturer says its safe in normal use. I agree that it shouldn't be over used.

OK, I see the link now. You might want to spell it out: MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET HERE rather than "MSDS Sheet Here." I had no idea what MSDS meant. At least folks can then decide for themselves if they want to use it and what the risks are.
On the positive side, I think the new Pumpkin Puppet looks great! I'll work on coming up with some routines for it.

Wonderful! If you guys do come up with ideas and routines that you want to share, I'll consider them for the website.
Also what is a list of Halloween Magic that would work with the pumpkin? Until then....BOO! Ax

Great stuff, as usual! Have you thought about using a heavy "Zombie" gimmick with the pumpkin. It could be hidden in the bag, and the pumpkin could get a bit more "loft".

I suggested this to Steve yesterday, but it's already been put out there...
I think it's great as it is (the pumpkin) and am already cooking something up for it... |

Great idea Captain Kid. Charlie Brown's "Great Pumpkin" rising from the pumpkin patch comes to mind with the Captain's idea...
