It is a cool word.

Many Native American Indian people consider the 13th of Friday and the number 13 to be lucky. My dad, (interestingly enough: the seventh son of a seventh son) was born on a Friday the 13th. Gotta be lucky, eh? The word is also spelled: Triskaidekaphobia (from greek tris=three, kai=and, deka=ten, phobia=fear.)

Paraskevedekatriaphobia is (specifically) the fear of Friday the 13th. Try to say that with a mouth full of Cheetoes!
Wonder is very necessary in life. When we're little kids, we're filled with wonder for the world - it's fascinating and miraculous. A lot of people lose that. They become cynical and jaded, especially in modern day society. Magic renews that wonder.

I have that reoccurring number thing...where you keep seeing a certain number over and over at odd significant times.

1111....is the one I see but I hear folks are hung up on various other numbers like 333? I dunno, the brain is a funny thing Smile

And there is a rare variation, trikadekaphobia, which is the dreaded fear of Svengali Cards.

And a good trick in "Magic & Meaning".
"What's your drug?" she asked. "Hope" he said, "The most addicting one of all."
