Yeap. Vistaprint runs specials like these a lot from time to time. I always check their site and I am also on their mailing list so I get the notices as they come up. It is important for me to know which on;line printers have specials so I can relay that back to my design clients I am designing for. Good stiff Brady and thanks.

Look on the left side of the VistaPrint site for the tab that says "Free Products."

Apparently they change the URL every few hours to prevent links like this.

Order from them once and you'll get "Free Offer" emails from them about every 10 days. These are very good buys -- shipping is in the $5.25 - $6.50 range, making 100 postcards about 6 cents each. However, you do have to pay for the first time you use a new picture. Upload the pic, pay a one-time setup charge for that photo and use it again and again for no fee.
I also disagree with the "fast" comment. The CAN be, but I have also waited weeks. I am sure they often run the postcards on "open space" tacked onto larger jobs, or "gang runs" where they have many different orders running together on a single sheet of paper. If such space is available, you'll get it back right away. If not, you'll wait. I suspect they are not a printer but a broker. I have had orders filled from them that were obviously printed on two very different presses, and likely different locations -- different coatings, paper stock, even different final cut sizes. This doesn't make a real difference, just thought I'd mention it if continuity is an issue with you. Place an order and you'll be getting the free offers forever ... but only on small quantities (100 postcards, 50 oversize postcards, 25 flyers, etc.) |
