Shalom,I've recently started into the thimbles ,and was wondering how you prevent them from clicking together during moves?

Which thimbles are you using? Wood? Plastic? Nesting? Metal?

I started off with wood and metal thimbles too. It is a matter of practise and more practise that will get you to work the thimbles smoothly. Understand the techniques you are playing with and then watch how you execute the moves. Watch for the move that is making the clicking noise and then find out why your fingers are moving that way. Practise again to find out how you can move your fingers in a slightly different position and movement.

Another point to note is the size of the thimbles - are they too big for you. If they are then you don't have much room to move with your fingers, hence they click.
