This is the one about a wall around a community that has been sealed off so that folks would develop "magic" in the same way as we developed technology. I recall it ends with the kid getting rescued off a broom by a guy in a jetpack and brought over the wall... but I did read the story over twenty five years ago.

Finally found the time to finish it - I just loved it. The ending was poor and really not necessary. Would be great to end the book without it.
By far, it is the best in the series. And probably easiest to turn into a movie as the action progresses rather linear with rising tention. Loved the way how Snape turned out - no surprise though, but the reason behind his behavior was lovely put together. All in all, a lot of loose ends were resolved - Petunia"s hate (towards her sister), the unnatural wand behavior, and much more.

Finished it this morning...The benefits of a broken leg Loved it!! Im going to go back and go through the entire series once again..I hate finishing novels,It always feels like a goodbye
