My name is Mike Dilley and I have been studying magic for about a year under a teacher. In the past I have used occasional effects to lock in teaching points and was even a practicing hypnotist while I was in the Army. I am interested in magic because it is something I can do for my nephews that no one else in the family does and I hope to be able to persuade at least one of them to get interested in magic. I don't perform (yet) but occasional try things out on my co-workers and my teacher and, of course, my wife. My interest in mostly cards but I am also learning other subjects as well. Finally, I am considering joining a local organization but do not know anything about them.
