The only way to monitor a group of people is to know when and where they are going to be. People log in at midnight. A harmless & invisible virus is then inserted into each computer at 1 past midnight. The virus then goes to work stealing all magic related information until the next time that the terminal logs into the site. Then at 1 past midnight the virus exits your computer, along with all the information it has gathered...and you never know it happened.

Months later, stuff you came up with ends up on their DVD's and you just chalk it up to their genius...you actually feel good that you came up with the same thing they did and you don't even realize that it was yours to begin with....
