I actually have to respect Cory for investigating the clue he got and researching it as far as he could to find connections. A lot of people would have probably just been dumbfounded and sat around waiting for someone else to find a connection to their clue.

Just cause I am curious and trying to catch up on the whold theory11 thingy here, I couldn't find any reference, has anybody found the username and password encoded into the source of the http://www.whatistheory11.com/vasari/ page?

<!-- user / theory11 / pass / dissolve -->

I don't know if it's useful or even relevant, but I couldn't find anybody mentioning it.

You can not say it is logical however to jump to a conclusion and run with it without it having a solid connection to the previous clue

Yeah that was said probably 25 pages ago... ha ha but good work, I see
your new here, welcome to the forums! Read the rules and all that good
stuff and help us figure out what theory 11 is!
Now I just want to say GREAT job Cory! I think you showed the best "treasure
hunting" skills yet! I think that it is safe to say David Blaine is part of this.
I think we should try taking every freakin' word we've learned from these clues
(well maybe not Cory's because Chris said it had nothing to do with the internet.)
But lets try to find a new page... but maybe this thing will evolve over just the
internet.... we'll see...

For instance a more logical connection between the superhero and the fish riddle would be aquaman....iceman is a pretty obscure superhero from like the 60's or 70's I believe...

Again, I am not saying you are wrong, but logic says you must have a solid correlation in order to move to the next step.

Hey guys, I wrote this up so it's nice and easy to understand...

On August 15th 2007, I received a phone call from Chris Kenner regarding Theory 11. He gave me a clue which he said was very cryptic, and had nothing to do with the internet. Apparently the clue would help later on. The clue was Superhero.
On the morning of August 17th 2007, a riddle was posted on The Magic Café by Danny Diamond. This riddle was told to him in a mysterious phone call, from people involved with Theory 11. This was the riddle…

Alive without breath,
As cold as death;
Never thirsty, ever drinking,
All in mail never clinking.

I thought about this for a while, and my brother said that it reminded him of the iceman. The iceman is an ice mummy found in northern Italy, just by the Austrian border. His body was preserved in ice for thousands of years, and was found in 1991. When my brother suggested it, it immediately made me think of the superhero clue. But my excitement was short lived, it turns out that the actual answer to this riddle was “fish.”
Because the country of Italy has popped up quite a few times during this puzzle (cerca trova, the building, transit umbra) I decided to translate the word fish into Italian. The result was “Pesci”
So I went on Google Maps, and searched “Pesci, Italy” it was a road in Northern Italy called “Via Dei Pesci.” I zoomed out a bit, and found out that it was very very close to the spot that the iceman was found. With a bit more research I found out that the museum where the iceman is kept was in the same city as this road. Coincidence? I think not.
Just then I realized something – David Blaine had done a stunt where he had pretty much become an “iceman.” In 2000. He enclosed himself in a block of ice for 62 hours. I was getting really excited, when I realized something else. In the Chris Kenner video, he uses David Blaine’s cards… coincidence? There have also been recent updates to David Blaine’s site… coincidence?
Anyways, I took a quick look at the riddle again – and discovered something really cool…

Alive without breath – Drowned Alive
As Cold as Death – Frozen in Time

From superheroes to mummies… What have we figured out here?

Listen...you can not erraticly post things that are not factual and claim them to be Smile

MAK Magic got that riddle. Not Danny Diamond. Danny's was Terror Train. That said neither of them were called by Kenner.

Ice Man is not consistent with the riddle...but for one line about cold as ice.

The riddle is from JRTolkien's the Hobbit. It is one of Gollum's Many riddles.

That's weird, I tried that page as well as several others earlier, and, the page just error'd without a password prompt. Since Chris came online, it seems like every page, even fake ones, are password protected.
