I’ve gotten worn out trying to learn “rope move”
either from books or DVD. Daryl is OK he repeats things a few times. At first I thought, wow, too slow dude. But later I begin to appreciated his slow clear moves. Although this is “obvious” once you do it. I just want to mention something that has really helped me. I play the DVD and watch it in the same mirror that I use for practice. Yes, I gives a “lefty” presentation that really speeds up learning for me. Part two: Righties you’re welcome to join in too. Just watch your favorite left handed magician’s DVD in a mirror and now this should be easier for you too. Part three: Just like an artist who will occasionally rotate their canvas to “see” errors in perspective or other flaws in their emerging landscape or portrait. The “mirror trick” has allowed me to “see” things in a different way. I am talking about watching a DVD, not my use of a mirror for practice. Maybe this has been mentioned before, maybe not.
An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.
