Curious: DO you know of any Comedy MAGIC conventions?

Do you know of any conference or convention which focused strickly on COMEDY MAGIC.

Yes I know about the Comedy Workshop that Steve Kissel runs. I am refering to a focused convention or conference which strickly had Comedy Performers, Like the "World's Wackiest Magicians".

Brad Sizemore once hosted a couple of Comedy Magic conferences in Raleigh, NC a few years back, but they didn't do so well. Seems that Brad Reader, Comedy magician and owner of Raleigh's Goodnight's Comedy Club, tried this as well and apparently failed.

I'd like to find a good focused adult comedy and bar magic conference, as well. It will be interesting to see what leads you draw, Dennis.

Just about every magician has practically feel off their seat for a good comedy magician. It seems a good marketed comedy Magic convention should go well.

That really looks like an interesting seminar but it is limited to 50 persons. I do like the schedule. This is something I would like to attend but I rather see a 3-day seminar.

I nearly chocked on my invisible latte re-reading some of the "Comdey" performers names.

Sadly not many of them are around. Glad Williamson is listed twice.

Max Maven?? Fay Presto??

More laughs from toothache!

Tommy Cooper unfortunately has it in his contract he will no longer be doing live shows, never mind a comedy convention!

Can any one report on the Canadian Convention based on first hand experience? I wanted to go but could not swing it. How was it?

You could build a whole convention around Mac King and Whit Hadyn alone. Two different styles, distinct and both so funny your ribs would take weeks to heal after all the laughing. Both excellent magicians as well. Ali Bongo will always be a legend to me as well. Don't see an actual comedy magic convention on a regular basis, but could see something like World Magic Seminar, IBM, or SAM having a comedy themed convention. Would have an excellent draw. Certainly they could contract a half dozen of so of those guys from Dennis' list and have a knock out convention.
