My 8 month old Netherlands Dwarf got loose for a couple of days and got into a bunch of ticks (10-15) while out rompin' about.

They were mostly around her ears, neck and eyes.

I tried to get the ticks off complete with heads, but am sure that some of the pincers are still attached to her. She hasn't had as good of an appetite the last 2 days and seems to feel a bit warmer than usual.

I'm planning on getting her to the vet, but is their anything I can do before that?

Oh, just in case you are wondering; she dug a tunnel under her fence outside. I've corrected the pen so she can't do it again.
