2500 is a great achievement !
I’m around 1500, but now it’s growing very slowly because it’s a working library, and I think I have most of the needed books to work with.

I have 5 purchases that come to mind:
1) Bruce Cervons Castle Notebooks (All 5 Books) $800.00
2) The Will Goldston Locked Books ( 4 Bk Set from Collectors Workshop) @ $400.00
3) The Magic of Johnny Thompson Vol.1 & 2 w/slipcase @ $250.00
4) The Fred Braue Notebooks Vol. 1-8 @ $200.00
5) The Cardician by Ed Marlo - 1953' Hardbound - Signed & Numbered (Mint Condition) @ $120.00 (purchased in 2018)
Note:: Buying this one didn't hurt as much!

There are books in between these prices, but I don't recall which books and their prices. My Magic Library has more than 2459 books in it and still growing.
This in a 50+ year span/addiction.......

Castle notebooks ? Not so good. They reached a legendary status they didn’t deserve. The best material had been already published in the L&L series.

There is a ton of good material hiding in the Castle notebooks. You have to dig for it. Mind you, I only paid $200 for the set of 5 (one of the lucky ones), but it's well worth it.

Bruce Cervons Castle Notebooks @ $800...... At first I was a bit disappointed, but Im a puzzle lover and as time passed, reading through the notebooks, I started finding things I did not know or had forgotten. If I had to purchased them all over again? I would most likely pass on them; however, if someone offered me a thousand dollar for them now I wound not take it. I feel that their Keepers. I believe there are still a lot of treasures hidden inside them that I have yet to discover.

The Doctor Albo set I recently sold for $3500. The complete Magick original newsletters -- $850., but recent reprints (without inserts) are going for about $650.
