Yeah...I feel the same way about Mr. Stiff and Co. If you watch Davids demo and then watch this one you will see a "common theme". Looks like their up to the same old tricks again. (No pun intended).

The effects on the DVD and lecture notes are far beyond your abilities. (They require mastery of the mechanic's grip.) It would only break your heart. Sincerely, Darwin Ortiz.......(This post has got to be in my top 5.) |

I can muscle pass quite well but it is just not something I have ever performed for anyone just something I learned and play with from time to time.
I found the DVD to be quite good as it shows performances on the street and how strong the muscle pass can be. So for me I am glad I bought it. Dean |

John Cornelius teaches the muscle pass on Mike Ammar's floating bill classic rendition DVD.
I never could do it without moving both hands. Just horrible at it. Know what? I do it for lay people and all the see is the coin falling up.

I think its up to you, the muscle pass is a knacky thing, the DVD might help but it all boils down to practice. Although the routines on Kong's DVD looks good.

I will be releasing a DVD on how to release a Muscle Pass DVD.

Jay has always been a clear and excellent teacher. If you can't get it with his DVD, then give up. I think the strongest thing about this DVD is he remembers you don't know how to do it. This is important when teaching, some of the PRO's have forgotten what it was like learning it. And even worst some guys get it right away, cause thier hands just work with this move. No matter what this move is knacky and is different for everyone, some people just don't have hands for this.
Best thing about jay he doesn't bable, and barf up the same stuff, like so many of these other people putting out DVDs. They get one step into the teaching then decide it is more important to tell you a history and who did what with thier life. I know about Ed marlo, dai Vernion, Erdinase and biddles, just teaching how to do the darn moves, bable at the end. By the time they get to the next step your forget what they started with. How can you not like Jay!!! Really. |

I don't know him, but I wouldn't be suprised if Jay just started learning coin magic (or the MP as Alex Linian said) in order to have this and his coin DVD released. At least it looks that way . Not meant as an insult but you look like Richard Kaufman (in his Basic Card Technique video) in your avatar. BTW its Vernon and Erdnase. |

I wanted to learn the muscle pass so I bought jay's DVD. I couldn't get anywhere with it. After reading this thread and being referred to youtube, I had it flipping out of my hand within 5 minutes. Now that I have the basic move, I'm just going to practice, practice and practice some more.
