The ring through rubberband and the metal bending looks fantastic, for any magician, not just beginners. I can't wait to get this!

Here are some reviews of this DVD :
"...If you want to learn impromptu magic...this is an excellent source...I was very impressed."
-Vaughn, Steve (2007, November). Magic Broadcast.

"For magicians, the impromptu book test is the highlight of the DVD...They are all visual and strong effects."
-Teo, John. (2008) Reviewer, MagicBoutique.sg Retrieved Jan. 10, 2008, from MagicBoutique.sg Web site: http://www.magicboutique.sg/declassified......s_id=196

Where can I get these, since Murphy's only sells to dealers?

I haven't found them on any of the mainstream dealer sites, such as Penguin or Magicdepot.

For a different view, see this review by Bryce Kuhlman at MyLovelyAssistant.
There are many tricks, and many effects, but rarely a Grand Effect. There are many entertainers, but few real magicians. Many technicians, but few artists who use their art to explore their vision. - Derren Brown, Absolute Magic

Hmm, Kuhlmann says: "The routines on this DVD have probably been in the repertoire of every close-up magician that's lasted longer than five years in the art."

The problem is that this DVD is for beginners. So, Kuhlmann might be missing the point.

I think the point is that this material is already available many times over- why re-invent the wheel? Perhaps the target audience eschews reading books....you don't need a dvd to learn everything LOL!.
