Just bought a "new" dusty-boxed Don Wayne Dancing Hank, an original 1978 version, complete with the registration card. What is missing is the now deteriorated rubber bands that helped secure the things that needed to be secured so it would operate correctly.
Does anyone know how to hook this thing up? The instructions, good as they are, include nothing about maintenance and replaceing that which would need to be replaced. I don't think it's missing anything besides the rubber bands as far as I can tell. Thanks, Charley |

Charley,
The answer is NO! But I still use the original method (1967) that came with mine anyway. I'll send you a PM with my cell number. You were in real luck. I only use that prop for October Halloween shows but it is ready because rehearsals start in two weeks. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

Folks,
It appears here that Charley thanked me and he did. What is not here is that a classy guy named Don Wayne bailed us out. Not many vendors in magic back their products thirty years later. Thanks Don! Class never goes out of style. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

Bob - you beat me to it!
I was so impressed by Don Wayne's immediate assistance when I contacted him. This is, as Bob said, a 30-year-old product, and Don made sure I got exactly the information I needed, and in case I didn't, made sure I knew I could call him about it. A BIG thank you goes out to Don for really standing by what he sells, with a fantastic attitude! A BIG public thank you to Bob Sanders, too, who really helped clarify things for me and also offered to make himself available to me for any questions. And we had some good conversation, too. This is what the Café is all about, Magicians Helping Magicians. And I really appreciate the help I got from those magicians. Many thanks, Charley |
