I have heard people tell me that Hasbro has bought off D'Lite. Did anyone else hear this? I can't find any articles on it.

What these are aren't toys, and would Rocco do that?

That is what I heard people say. They could be misunderstanding what they said. Like last year, KB toy store sold D'Lites over the holiday season. You got two D'Lites, plus a DVD for $14.99. I know many magicians complained that they had to pay retail price of $50, but KB sold for $15.

These have been in toy stores and gag/variety shops for years.

Yep...nothing new here. And, yes, Rocco would do that. They've been in toy stores for some time now.

I have a friend who has a brick-and-mortar magic shop. He says that the only people buying these are kids coming in to get them for raves. He typically sells a dozen or so of them at a time for that purpose.

Why wouldn't Rocco do that!!!!!
Would you? YES! If you were smart. I've sold hundreds of D'lites to kids of all ages, it's a very over exposed trick. I'd say more exposed than the TT. Brett.

Well, I happened to meet Rocco last Monday and he was selling a ton of D'Lites for $10 a pair. He didn't say anything about Hasbro owning it, but I didn't ask either.

Yeah, but if you went to Vegas and passed by the Houdini magic shops you couldn't make it a minute in the shop without them pitching the darn things.
Those just give me horrible flashbacks of raves of long past. |

Do they now include ecstacy? An evil magician could slip it into his clients drinks. Then he wouldn't even have to try......but they would want to touch his props-- a lot.....and possibly lick them
